Britannia wash systems are renowned for their longevity and a team of dedicated, in-house service engineers is available to ensure your equipment operates smoothly year after year after year.

All of our engineers have many years’ experience of installing, servicing and maintaining our equipment in the field. Our Alcester factory holds substantial stock of spare parts which enables us to equip engineers with the right parts very quickly, ensuring a very high “first time fix” rate.



Smith Bros. & Webb offers three types of service agreement for customers who want to ensure that their equipment operates to its optimum effectiveness.

Designed to suit all budgets there is a ‘pay as you go’ contract to offer the customer total flexibility in their operation. The standard contract covers the cost of servicing by Britannia’s own dedicated, experienced and skilled service engineers.

The ‘All-inclusive’ contract includes the cost of servicing, breakdown and call out. Within each of the service contracts are specified SLA’s providing total peace of mind that your Britannia wash system will be operational for the maximum amount of time.



Smith Bros. & Webb stays at the forefront of design with its own in-house technical design team who work with CAD technology to produce better wash solutions for the train, commercial and municipal vehicles sectors.

It is in keeping with the company policy of continuous development and improvement, both of product range and services, to ensure that customers have the best possible equipment and field support.

The modular design of many of Britannia’s washing systems allows for a range of extra options to be added at a later stage if customers’ requirements change.
